Moving On
Dear Journal, I can't believe it's finally over. The four years just seemed to fly by so fast. It's hard to think that I'm not going to see a lot of people! I'll still remember those fateful memories. So many... so little time.
I'll remember that first day when I was a lowly freshman, walking on unfamiliar ground with my good friends Maria and Alex.
I'll remember the day I first met Max Evans. When he sat down next to me in science and became just my lad partner.
I'll remember the day I almost died and then Max saved me. What's weird is I should have died. I should be dead, but Max, an angel, a miracle, an alien, saved my life. I'll remember the day both Maria and Alex found out about Max, Michael, and Isabel. I'll remember the constant bickering, arguing, and making up of the on and off relationship of Maria and Michael.
I'll remember the look on Alex's face when Isabel and he started going out.
I'll remember the soft touch of Max's lips the first time we kissed.
I'll remember the saddening, confused look of Kyle’s face when I told him that it was over between us.
I'll remember the day my grandmother died and Max let me see and talk and tell her good-bye one last time.
I'll remember the day Alex came over to tell me it was over between him and Isabel.
I'll remember the numerous times Max had told me that they could never be and yet we were always together.
I'll remember the day Tess came...
I'll remember the day I found out that Max and Tess were having a child...
The day Alex died....
The day I found out the Tess had killed...
I can't go on; the point is I'll remember all the weird, strange, fun, sad things that have happened to me these years in High School. Most of them devoted to Max...

Michael pulled a sheet of paper out. He needed to write it down, how he felt. But then, couldn't he just call her up and tell her...
Michael shook his head and grinned. "Yea Guerin, you're going to call and confess your undying love for her, sure," he said to himself. Why don't you? Or are you to afraid she'll say no? said a little voice at the back of his mind. Michael thought a little. "No, I don't do phones... She needs to hear it in person. She deserves it." Michael pulled on his jacket and walked out his door. He turned down the street. She should be cleaning up at the crashdown. He turned down and saw her. Her long hair swaying back and forth and she swept the floor. It looked like she was dancing to some soft music. He walked to the door. He felt his heart flutter. She was wearing a small red tank and black softies. The clothes fit her perfectly, showing her every curve. Beads of sweat rolled down his face. Michael tapped on the glass. She looked up. Seeing Michael, she put down the broom and opened the door. His shadow covered her petite frame. He walked in further as she glided back. He heard the door close behind him. He took a step closer to her. He could smell her hair. He put his hand on her arm pulling her closer to him. "I need to tell you something," he said his voice low and husky.
"Ok," she said softly. She felt his strong hands on her back. She felt a shock go up her spine. She could smell his cologne and feel his warm breath. She looked into his gray eyes, searching for an answer.
"I love you," he whispered in her ears. She looked at him and a small smile formed upon her lips. She stood on her tiptoes.
"I love you too," she said. He looked at her, grinning. I bet your grinning like a crazy idiot! the little voice said at the back of his mind. Michael pushed the thought away. He swept Liz up in his arms and looked at her.
"I think now we have to make up for all that lost time."
The End.
